Operating Entity: 4Front Digital Solutions, LLC, d/b/a Finance for Feds (“Finance for Feds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase, download, access, and use of digital products offered through Financeforfeds.com, including spreadsheets, calculators, estimators, planners, templates, guides, bundles, and related materials (collectively, the “Products”).

By completing a purchase, downloading a Product, or using a Product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase, download, or use the Products.

1. Educational Purpose Only

Finance for Feds provides general educational information and self-directed planning tools. The Products are intended to help users organize information, explore potential scenarios, and better understand financial and federal-benefit concepts.

The Products do not constitute individualized:

  • Financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, retirement, estate-planning, or benefits advice;

  • Recommendations to purchase, sell, change, or retain any investment, insurance policy, benefit election, or financial product;

  • Official benefit estimates, determinations, or representations from any government agency; or

  • A substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your individual circumstances.

You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions and for determining whether information produced by a Product is appropriate for your circumstances.

2. No Government Affiliation

Finance for Feds is an independent educational business operated by 4Front Digital Solutions, LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the United States government or any federal agency, including the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Social Security Administration (SSA), Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB), or any federal employer.

References to FERS, CSRS, FEGLI, FEHB, TSP, Social Security, IRS forms, OPM guidance, or other government programs are provided solely for educational and informational purposes.

3. Estimates and Assumptions

Outputs produced by the Products are estimates based on the information entered by the user, the assumptions selected, and the formulas and reference information included in the Product.

Actual results may differ materially because of factors including:

  • Changes in federal or state law;

  • Changes to tax rates, benefit formulas, contribution limits, premiums, earnings-test thresholds, or agency policies;

  • Inflation, investment performance, interest rates, and market conditions;

  • Timing of retirement, claims, payments, withdrawals, or government processing;

  • Incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrectly entered information; and

  • Individual circumstances not incorporated into a Product.

No Product can predict future investment returns, retirement income, tax liability, benefit eligibility, insurance costs, processing times, or other financial outcomes with certainty. Before relying on an estimate, verify important figures with official sources and a qualified financial, tax, or legal professional.

4. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Entering complete and accurate information;

  • Reviewing all inputs, assumptions, formulas, and outputs;

  • Confirming current rules and figures with authoritative government sources;

  • Maintaining backup copies of downloaded Products;

  • Using compatible software and equipment; and

  • Obtaining professional advice before making significant financial, retirement, tax, insurance, or benefit decisions.

You should not use a Product as the sole basis for an irreversible election, filing, investment transaction, insurance change, retirement decision, or other significant financial action.

5. Digital Delivery

Products are delivered electronically. No physical product will be mailed unless the product description expressly states otherwise.

After successful payment, you will ordinarily receive access through a download page, customer account, or email sent to the address supplied during checkout. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to it.

If you do not receive your Product, contact sales@financeforfeds.com and include your name, order number, purchase date, and the email address used for the order.

6. Software Compatibility

Most spreadsheet Products are designed primarily for use with a supported desktop version of Microsoft Excel unless the product description states otherwise.

Functionality may vary when a Product is opened in:

  • Google Sheets;

  • Apple Numbers;

  • LibreOffice;

  • Mobile spreadsheet applications;

  • Browser-based spreadsheet software;

  • Older versions of Microsoft Excel; or

  • Software configured with unusual security, calculation, language, or regional settings.

Some features—including formulas, charts, data validation, formatting, macros, links, or worksheet protection—may not work identically in all software. Review system requirements before purchasing.

7. License and Permitted Use

Your purchase grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the Product for your own personal, noncommercial purposes.

Unless a separate license expressly permits it, you may not:

  • Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially distribute a Product;

  • Share, upload, email, post, publish, or distribute copies to another person;

  • Make a Product available through a shared drive, website, membership, workplace system, or file-sharing service;

  • Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, license, or disclaimer notices;

  • Copy or extract formulas, content, designs, or other elements for use in a competing product;

  • Represent a Product as your own work;

  • Use a Product to provide paid financial planning, tax, insurance, retirement, consulting, or similar services to third parties; or

  • Attempt to bypass access controls or other measures designed to protect a Product.

A separate license is required for organizational, employer, adviser, consultant, classroom, client-facing, or other multi-user use. Contact sales@financeforfeds.com to discuss commercial licensing options.

8. Intellectual Property

All Products, formulas, layouts, written content, graphics, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Finance for Feds and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing a Product does not transfer ownership of the Product or any associated intellectual-property rights. You receive only the limited right to use it as described in these Terms.

“Finance for Feds,” associated logos, and tagline graphics may not be used without prior written permission.

9. Prices, Payment, and Taxes

Prices are displayed at checkout and may change without notice. A price change will not affect a completed purchase.

You authorize Finance for Feds and its payment processor to charge the payment method selected at checkout for the displayed purchase amount, including any applicable taxes or disclosed fees. You are responsible for any sales, use, or similar taxes applicable to your purchase.

10. Refund Policy for Digital Products

Because Products are delivered digitally and access is generally provided immediately, all sales are final once a Product has been downloaded or accessed, except where:

  • The Product is materially different from its published description;

  • A duplicate purchase was made accidentally;

  • A verified technical defect prevents the Product from functioning substantially as described and we cannot provide a reasonable correction; or

  • A refund is required by applicable law.

A preference change, failure to review the product description, lack of compatible software, or dissatisfaction with an estimate or outcome does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Refund requests must be submitted to sales@financeforfeds.com within 7 days after purchase. Include your order number and a description of the issue.
